What to expect on Digital Leap?
Originally ringfenced for London, Digital Leap is now a nationwide online course that aim to teach participants how to us AI as a tool for gaining employment. Participants do not need any previous qualifications, and they can be wanting to gain employment in any sector. This course is fully funded by Sales Force, making it free to get involved.
Week 1 :Foundations of employability & AI in the workplace
In Week 1, participants are introduced to essential employability skills and the role of AI in today’s workforce. Through hands-on activities, they’ll explore AI tools for resume building, effective communication, and teamwork, setting a solid foundation for collaborative skills in an AI-driven workplace.
Week 2: Problem-Solving & Decision-Making with AI
This week focuses on enhancing critical-thinking and problem-solving skills with AI support. Participants will practice analysing real-world scenarios, learn data-driven decision-making techniques, and conduct a mini-market analysis, sparking ideas for their final projects.
Week 3: Personal Branding & Job Search with AI
In Week 3, participants will refine their personal brand and job search strategies using AI tools. They’ll optimise their LinkedIn profiles, draft bios, and explore AI-supported job search techniques, finalising a project idea that aligns with their career goals, such as a portfolio, business pitch, or marketing campaign.
Week 4: Project Work, Presentation Skills, & Final Showcase
The final week is dedicated to developing and presenting projects. Participants will use AI tools to refine content and visuals, practice presentation skills, and deliver their completed projects to the group, reflecting on key takeaways and preparing for next steps in their career journey.
All participants will be assigned a Catch22 career coach for 6 months, to help guide them into employment. We will also offer an additional 6 months of in-work support for participants if they request it.

Free mobile data for people in need
Like a foodbank but for mobile data, the National Databank provides free SIM cards to help people get connected.
There are over 1,700 local community organisations giving out free mobile data across the UK you can visit to get free and friendly help.

- Have the legal right to work & live in the UK and lived in the UK/EEA for the past 3 years

Computer Science graduates are highly employable, with around 75% of UK graduates going directly into employment.
Do I qualify?
Students from year 9 onwards in WOLVERHAMPTON, WALSALL, DUDLEY and SANDWELL schools can take part in these workshops to understand the importance of Cyber Security and how taking a GCSE or A-Level in Computer Science can further their future tech career.

Three or four-week pre-apprenticeship and employment training programme to support people from underserved communities to access a digital apprenticeship with a local employer within Microsoft’s network of customers and partners. Read the flyer for the programme.
Digital Bootcamps from the Resume Foundation
The Resume Foundation is a charity that has been working in Coventry and now offers bootcamps in the West Midlands. Course details and programmes are:
- 16-weeks
- Online via MS Teams
- Mon-Thurs (2 hours guided tuition, with roughly 3 hours independent learning)
Our programmes provide:
- Technical training from industry experts at Coventry University
- Employability and confidence support throughout
- 1:1 time with our Case Workers
