Get online

Wolverhampton is committed to supporting all residents to get online. You can get support to get online at lots of local venues including those part of the Online Centres Network, local libraries, and through the community centres who belong to the Wolverhampton Learning Platform. We are also introducing Wolves Online, a device and connectivity lending scheme through a number of trusted partners to enable residents to get online to access online learning, employment support and jobs and services.

      Wolves Online is a device and connectivity lending scheme supporting people who cannot currently get online due to lack of a device or inability to connect to get online. The lending scheme will work through a network of trusted partners to help people get online to apply for benefits, access online learning, employment support and access support and services.

      • AbilityNet supports people of any age, living with any disability or impairment to use technology to achieve their goals at home, at work and in education. They provide specialist advice services, free information resources helping to build a more accessible digital world.
    • Age UK

      • Age UK offer IT Training courses in plain English at your local branch.
    • Black Country Click Start

      • The Black Country Click Start project provides wraparound support to improve digital and financial inclusion. Click Start can help you get comfortable with using the internet, support you to use emails and social media, do your banking and shopping and banking online as well as access online accounts.     • Access to Business

      • Access to Business A2B is a Wolverhampton based charity that help get disadvantaged local people into training, employment, self-employment and social enterprise and have a particular specialism in supporting disadvantaged people with health problems or disabilities. Access to Business offer accredited and non-accredited training courses including practical IT courses and webinars on topics such as Facebook for Business, Designing with Canva, Blogging for Beginners but also covering topics like health and wellbeing. A2B is a UKOnline centre currently delivering UKOnline specialist programmes providing intensive 1-2-1 support for disabled people including IT, Finance and completing HMRC forms.
